The Story Saver is a video production company. We have more than a decade in the television storytelling business. Our business applies our Emmy Award winning experience to your family. What we produce is not meant for public consumption. Instead we create beautiful videos to preserve your family history. Those videos belong to you, to pass down to your future generations that should know their ancestry. The oral tradition is alive and well with The Story Saver.

So How Does It Work?

Great question.

So you've decided your story deserves saving. Excellent. When you contact us, we will consult with you over the phone about what story you want to tell. Is there a specific moment in time that you want to preserve? Would you like to start from the beginning and discuss your path through life? We'll send you a uniquely tailored list of thought provoking questions to spark your memories. 

The Interview.

On the phone we will set up a time and place to do an interview. Where you call home may be the best place, or maybe a family members home. Maybe there is a nearby park that you'd prefer. Where you feel the most comfortable is where we will set up. Our production gear is not bulky or heavy, so we can navigate in tight spaces.

We will sit down with you, set up our camera and microphone, and just talk. The interview will last about 30 minutes (unless you want to talk longer). If you would prefer to have a family member ask the questions-no problem!

Our goal is to make you comfortable with the process.

We will scan any pictures you have that go along with the story you're telling. Then, we'll shake your hand and say thank you for your business!

The Editing 

Within 2-3 weeks you will recieve a copy of your interview, fully edited. The copy will be digital, viewable on a computer, tablet or smart phone. If you'd like a DVD, that will arrive as well in the mail in about the same time frame. 

You can share the digital copy with anyone you choose, free of charge. We will also keep a copy of your story in our secure archives. Lose your copy? Accidentally delete it? It happens! We will email it again, free of charge!

The beauty of The Story Saver? It's just for you who you choose to share it with. It's a gift that your children or grandchildren, your family or friends. They will treasure it, because it's your story, told by you!
